Terms of Service
These terms describe what Seidwyn is for, what it is not for, how you can use it, and what each of us can expect from the other. By continuing to use Seidwyn you agree to them.
1. What Seidwyn is, and what it is not
Seidwyn is a tool for entertainment and self-reflection. It produces short written readings drawn from a quiz you complete and, optionally, from an image you share. The readings are reflective prompts written by language models. They are subjective, often surprising, sometimes wrong, and never predictive.
Seidwyn is not, and does not claim to be:
- A medical, psychological, or therapeutic service. We are not licensed clinicians and we are not your therapist.
- A financial-advice service. Nothing here should inform a purchase, an investment, or a job decision.
- A relationship-counselling service. A reading about a person you uploaded a picture of is not their assessment, and it is not yours.
- A psychic, fortune-telling, or predictive service. We do not claim to know what will happen. We do not claim to read auras in the metaphysical sense. The word "aura" is used here as a metaphor for an aesthetic reading of an image.
- A diagnostic service of any kind. We make no claims about your health, your pet's health, or anyone's mental state.
Nothing Seidwyn produces is professional advice. Do not act on it as such. If you need a doctor, a therapist, a financial adviser, or a lawyer, please find one — Seidwyn is not a substitute for any of them.
Readings may also be surprising, unsettling, or feel pointedly wrong. That is in the nature of a reflective tool driven by language models. Take what is useful for thinking; discard the rest.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Seidwyn. We ask once during onboarding and we ask you to be honest. We reserve the right to close accounts that we believe are operated by minors.
3. Your account
You may use Seidwyn anonymously for a limited number of free readings. Subscribing requires an email address. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us at support@seidwyn.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload images of other people without their explicit, informed consent. If you upload a photograph of someone for a compatibility or face reading, you confirm that they are an adult and that they have agreed to it.
- Upload any image of a minor under any circumstance, even for a "companion" reading.
- Upload sexually explicit content, content depicting violence or self-harm, or content that violates anyone's intellectual-property rights.
- Use the service to harass, stalk, surveil, dox, or harm any person.
- Attempt to access the service through automated means beyond the rate limits we publish, or to extract our prompts and model outputs at scale.
- Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to make derivative tools that compete with it.
- Resell or republish the readings produced for you as if they were authored by you, or present them as the output of a different tool.
- Use Seidwyn to make decisions about another person's wellbeing, employability, custody, or legal status — these are explicitly out of scope.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and trials
5.1 Trial
Each new subscription includes a three-day free trial. We do not require a card before the trial ends — once you authorise the subscription, your first payment is taken on day three.
5.2 Recurring billing
Weekly, monthly, and annual subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the price displayed on /pricing/ when you subscribed. Prices may change for future billing periods; we will email you at least 30 days before the new price takes effect.
5.3 Cancellation
You may cancel any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid access until that date. We do not require you to email anyone or wait for a reply.
5.4 Refunds
- Annual subscriptions: full refund within 14 days of the initial charge, no questions asked. After 14 days, no refund.
- Monthly and weekly subscriptions: no refund once the billing period has started. Cancel to stop the next renewal.
- Credit packs: full refund within 14 days of purchase if no credits have been used. Once any credit is used, no refund.

6. Disclaimer of warranties
Seidwyn is provided "as is" and for entertainment. We do not warrant that it will be available, accurate, free of error, or produce any particular result for you. The readings are reflective, subjective, computer-generated, and may be contradictory between sessions. They are not professional advice of any kind. We make no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose, including but not limited to making decisions about your health, finances, relationships, employment, or legal status.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seidwyn's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to losses arising from any decision you make in reliance on a reading. You assume the full risk of how you choose to use the output. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that violate Section 4 above. If we close your account for cause we will not refund any unused subscription time.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to subscribers and posted with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes will be resolved in the District Court of Reykjavík unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you a different right.
